On Wednesday July 6, 2011 The Franklin Fountain was featured on the front page of the New York Times Dining Section, in an article titled: “For Soda, The Genie Is Out of The Bottle: A bid to revive the ways of the soda fountain.”
The Maple Rag Sundae featured in the article: banana ice cream, maple walnuts, fresh crushed pineapple and whipped cream.
